Finally Kannada media realised that whole issue of Hindus protesting against "Christian" Chaplin issue is nothing but a publicity stunt by a so called Director Hemant Hegde known for his horrible acting and director of few flop films (some did not even come out of the "cans")

Times of India which threw away all journalistic norms in its hurry to blame Coastal Karnataka and Hindu organisations published this small news item today.

"Vijaya Karnataka", Karnataka's highest selling newspaper has raised questions about Hemant Hegde's intentions in blaming Hindu organisations. Rough translation below:

Even if everyone agrees for statue, it is highly unlikely or next to impossible that government will give permission as said area falls under CRZ (Coastal Regulatory Zone). Even with this, Hemant Hegde boasts that he will protest in Bangalore with "progressive" activists.
